Install IPTV on Apple TV
tvOS only runs App Store apps. If you cannot find a player that accepts your setup format, use another device in the compatibility list.
Before you start
- Apple ID.
- Apple TV updated to a current tvOS.
- Setup details from IPTV USA Premium.
Step 1: Update tvOS
Settings → System → Software Updates.
Step 2: Install a player from the App Store
Search the Apple TV App Store for the player named in your instructions. Install it.
Step 3: Add the service inside the player
Use the documented fields. There is no supported sideload alternative on this page.
Checks after playback starts
- Settings → Video and Audio: set Format to 4K SDR or 4K HDR based on what your TV actually supports.
- Ethernet adapter if Wi-Fi is weak.
FAQ
Some tvOS apps limit URL types. Ask support whether your plan uses a login method that the App Store player accepts, or use Android TV / another supported device.
