What are Xtream Codes?

The login pattern

Some players ask for a server hostname, a username, and a password instead of a playlist file. People often call that trio “Xtream Codes” after a panel product that popularized the API style.

The player exchanges those credentials for a channel list and playback URLs. You should only use credentials issued to you.

Operational notes

Type the host exactly, including http or https as specified. Wrong DNS or a typo produces generic “connection failed” errors.

What this article will not do

It will not list leaked panels, crack panel software, or explain how to harvest other users’ accounts. If your legitimate login fails, contact the service that issued it.
