Install IPTV on Android phones and tablets
Use a mobile player build. TV APKs have the wrong navigation and are a common source of install errors.
Before you start
- Google account on Play Store.
- Setup details.
- Willingness to exempt the app from battery optimization.
Step 1: Install from Google Play
Install the mobile player specified in your setup message.
Step 2: Add the service
Paste playlist or login fields. Test on Wi-Fi.
Step 3: Allow background activity
Settings → Apps → [player] → Battery → Unrestricted (wording varies by Samsung, Pixel, etc.).
Checks after playback starts
- If Play Protect warns about an unofficial APK, do not install it. Return to Play Store.
