Install IPTV on Mac
Prefer the Mac App Store or a signed developer ID. This page does not explain how to disable SIP or Gatekeeper globally.
Before you start
- macOS updated.
- Official player download.
- IPTV USA Premium setup details.
Step 1: Install the app
Open the .dmg or App Store listing. Drag to Applications if required.
Step 2: Approve a known developer if asked
System Settings → Privacy & Security can allow an identified developer. Do not do this for unknown files.
Step 3: Add the service and test
Enter playlist or login. Play a short authorized stream.
Checks after playback starts
- For an external TV, use Displays settings so the player can go full screen on the TV.
- If HDR looks wrong, switch the player or display to SDR.
FAQ
Rosetta may run it. If performance is poor, pick a universal binary player.
