Install IPTV on Windows
Download players from the developer or Microsoft Store. Avoid “codec pack” bundles that hitchhike on media apps.
Before you start
- Windows 10 or 11, updated.
- Administrator rights to install software.

Step 1: Install the player
Use the official download. Complete the installer without extra toolbars.
Step 2: Allow the firewall prompt
Allow on private networks so the player can fetch playlists and streams.
Step 3: Add your service
Create a profile with the playlist or login from your message. Test playback on the PC display first.
Step 4: Optional TV output
Connect HDMI, set Windows to duplicate or second screen, and select the TV as the playback display in the player if it has that option.
Checks after playback starts
- Update GPU drivers if 4K stutters.
- Disable VPN if it adds latency unless you have a reason to keep it.
